Roger & Lindsay met through mutual friends back on January 8, 2011, when we were both seniors in high school. We dated for a couple months before going our separate ways, Lindsay to Pensacola and Roger to Miami. We caught up when we were both home for Freshman Year Thanksgiving Break We ended up staying in touch throughout the rest of our time at college and made sure to see each other whenever we were both in town.

In 2014, Lindsay left UWF and started working at Disney through their College Program. Since Lindsay knew she wasn't coming home to Tampa for the summer, she invited Roger to come visit her at Disney for the weekend and the rest is history. We started dating that weekend, May 28, 2014, and haven't looked back since. We started out long distance and logged some serious miles and tolls (thanks for letting me use your SunPass, Mom!) on the Florida Turnpike during the first 3 years of our relationship.

In 2017, we decided to get our FIRST apartment together! Lindsay made the big decision to leave Orlando and moved to Miami and we have lived here ever since. We have shared two apartments in Brickell and one in Pembroke Pines.

On November 21, 2019, our life was changed for the better and we met the absolute love of our live. Lindsay’s manager and co-worker found a dog in a creek outside their office and Lindsay immediately called dibs on her without even seeing her first. Lindsay didn’t even ask Roger if it was ok to adopt this dog, she just sent Roger a text that read, “LOL we have a dog now” along with a picture of her face. We believe Bailey is a mix of a Doberman & Beagle. She is way too smart for her own good and somehow more stubborn than mom. She is incredibly shy but is the sweetest dog once she gets to know you. Even though dad is her favorite, mom bribes her everyday with people food and pup cups.

In June 2021, we moved into our first home together! We spent the first several months trying to scrape popcorn off ceilings (still in progress), repainting the whole house, replacing toilets, and learning the ins and outs of home ownership. Bailey loves the backyard and we are happy to have a place to call our own!

Roger & Lindsay were in Paris for our Officiant’s wedding in October 2022. For our first night in Paris, Roger booked dinner reservations at Le Jules Verne Restaurant located on the second level of the Eiffel Tower. After dinner, you are allowed to go to the second level of the Eiffel Tower’s observation deck. We had about 5 minutes until it closed at 11pm and had the entire observation deck to ourselves. Roger got down on one knee and asked Lindsay to marry him and as soon as Lindsay said yes, the Eiffel Tower started to sparkle and light up.
